People usually ask which carrier they should choose when it comes
to mobile internet. Although many people chose to go with whoever their
wireless phone carrier is, mostly because tethering costs are lower than an
actual air card, for those who can chose this becomes a crucial question.
From my personal experience, Verizon has managed to provide more
reliable signal and service than the other carriers. However, a recent article
in Engadget has come to disprove that belief
of mine. The article explores different providers and air cards and the results
reveal AT&T as the leader by a fair margin. The only thing is AT&T
seems to be more expensive when you factor in overage costs and certain
International costs. As long as you stay within your allocated 5 GB and in the
US, AT&T is by far the best option accordingly.
